 I’ve read that God does not make anyone gay from birth, however people who think they were born gay really inherited the “curse” of this sin from their parents up to 4 generations back. Also that these emotions and feelings can be reversed through spiritual warfare or exorcism. Comments please! Most all of you call me an idiot or insane but tell me how many of you homosexuals realy prayed relentlessly to God for forgiveness and deliverance from your affliction. — only the truth here |

ADD: actually I did at one believe as you did (the praying part not the attitude towards gay people) but then I realized something. God, Jehovah, Allah, whomever, made me as I am. The only time I have ever felt sadness or sorrow or pain about being gay was when I heard words such as yours. When “Christians” and others who wear their piety as a cloak of authoritarian pressumption strut as pedantic petulant pontificating peacocks(say that three times) denouncing what I am, I merely remind myself that I know the truth and that they merely mimick and regurgitate the spiteful bile of others whom they have given up control too.

Why is it that when a person is gay or bi, some people see it as a choice, whereas they don’t subject their own sexual orientation to the same scrutiny?
I don’t know anyone–straight, gay, or bisexual–who made a conscious decision to be sexually attracted to one gender or another.
There are no such things as curses or sins. There is merely the power of human suggestion.
People are very susceptible to suggestion; if you believe in something strongly enough, such as: you will most certainly get sick if you go outside at night and breathe the “deadly night air”, your mind influences the outcome. You stress over the getting sick part and end up making yourself ill from worrying. In other words, you became sick because you believed you were going to.
The illness was all in your head.
Apply this sort of thinking to all superstitions or stupid ideas.

Noone inherits a “curse” unless someone is activley doing witchcraft agaisnt your family and you.
Secondly people become gay beacuse of influences in life and demonic influence. Homosexuality is a sin.

Considering that psychologists many decades ago have found that homosexuality is derived from a difference in brain structure… No, very clearly “demonic influence” has nothing to do with it…
For example, the brains of men and women are remarkably different structurally/physiologically… A woman has a bigger and more intricate corpus callosum for example, but so does a gay man! A gay man’s brain is very similar to a woman’s brain and a lesbian’s brain is very similar to a man’s brain. So in the vast majority of cases (though not all) homosexuality is a switch-up in brain chemistry and by no means a choice.
We also know that sexual orientation is established generally by the age of 8… However, it IS actually possible to brainwash the downtrodden and desperate into believing they’re straight… but they’ll never be happy, because they’re essentially lying to themselves and forcing themselves to do something disgusting to them just to “fit in”, please others and please their god.
Exorcism and “spiritual warfare” have no documented cases of ever working beyond a psychological level and self-fulfilled prophecies… and even then they usually don’t work. People feel better because they’re told they’ve been cured of whatever was inflicting misery in their lives (even though they haven’t), this works for a while but eventually they revert back to the way they were…
More recently, scientists have been searching gene sequences and found sequences that seem to favor homosexuality. While there isn’t a “gay gene” per se, there are sequences of genes (which we’ve discovered and recorded) that seem to make people gay…

I believe it is for some a choice and for others they may be predisposed. I do not, however, feel it is simply a demonic influence that makes one this way. I believe it is whether you act on your feelings. I am sure the devil will try to tempt a homosexual in ways, just like he tries to temp all of us equally in our own weaknesses (whatever they may be).

Think about it- how can you inherit the sin of homosexuality?
Ezekiel 16:48 explains why YHWH destroyed Sodom, Gommorah, Admah, and Zeboiim, and it wasn’t homosexuality. It might help you discern what the biblical causes of homosexuality are, however.
The current medical theory is that it has something to do with chemicals in the placenta before the baby is born. Not exactly sure- not something I worry about.
Really, there are far worse things than being gay, aren’t there?

No. It is thought that hormone levels affect the brain of a fetus during pregnancy, and it could be this which makes people gay, as a gay man’s brain works like a straight woman’s and a lesbian’s brain works like a straight man’s. So people are born gay, that’s just the way they are. You can’t change that, and it would be very traumatic to perform an exorcism on a gay person because there is nothing wrong with them, and it could be a scary experience.

I use to think it was environmental and I was wrong..who’d of thunk it.
People are born with different hormonal levels and this throws the sex thing completely out of whack. Which ever way the scale is tilted is the way the individual’s orientation is determined sexually. Religiously there are no exceptions then again religion does not determine things scientifically, they still have myths and dogma that block sound reasoning. They really don’t like to hear that!

There are a number of organizations that help homosexuals who want to live as heterosexuals. Some of these organizations are quite successful, but the gay community DESPISES no one more than an ex-gay person and these organizations are coming under attack more and more and are being shut down by pressure from the homosexual community and the government. Look around, demonic influence is everywhere.
