is a covenant of better promises. Israel being a 1st born nation. Christianity & believing Jews in Yeshua Messiah being the 2nd born nation.
So Able (2nd born) made a better sacrifice… Jesus made a better sacrifice (2nd Adam, 2nd Covenant…)
Question being – is Able at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb?
Super Nintendo. Of course they are equally important. But then the better blessing went through the 2nd born. Though the 1st born was blessed.
My question is that Jesus died before being able to marry. But yet he is the Groom at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. The Bride being the Church.
And so? Able died early because he was murdered by jealous big brother (So was Jesus). Able never married while alive on earth either.
I know this is a confusing question. I don’t know how to ask it exactly.
Jerod begot Enoch, not Able. Able wasn’t able to have children, since he was married.
Since he wasn’t married.
cthmagic, Ishmael was Abrams first child of Hagar. And is blessed also. But Isaac was the promised child whose nation (Israel) would bring forth the Savior of the World (Jesus). The first covenant the LORD God has with Israel is an everlasting covenant. But the 2nd Covenant with all who are born of God through faith in Jesus is an everlasting covenant with the blessings ofAbraham plus the better blessings of the new covenant.

Don’t do this. 1st born and 2nd born kids are equally important.

you’re making it too difficult and reading too much into the mythology espoused by the bible
it’s all pretend, stories, fables – get it?

I agree that the Bible has a 2nd born blessing theme, but remember that Isaac was 2nd born also. Through him came Israel, the lineage of Jesus. God doesn’t change and His promises are eternal. That would mean Israel is still blessed, but through Jesus, all nations now have a way to God. Christians are just the people who have accepted that, sort of like the Jews were the only ones who accepted God’s law. Is that what you mean?
God Bless.
